educational and other issues. AA facilitates a meeting at the house every Saturday.
House members invest in their living environment
by maintaining several responsibilities including cleaning, cooking, and contributing
$300 per month for room and board. Other areas in which the house members may
choose to invest their time might be tending to the garden, animals, and house
maintenance issues.
House members are responsible for
- scheduling their own appointments outside of the house. Those with
transportation issues coordinate with the house manager and case manager
for rides to appointments.
- holding a job. If they do not have a job when they are accepted, they will
need to obtain employment within 30 days of admission.
- adhering to the house member contract, a document that contains all policies
each member must follow in order to continue on as a resident of the house.
Applicants may be referred by any number of sources, or they may refer themselves.
Their application is reviewed by a selection panel. Openings in the house are
filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list accommodates any
